Complete our eTA form by providing your personal information and contact details. Our site has built-in tooltips to help you complete each section correctly.
Take extra care when adding your passport data, including your passport number and expiry date.
We offer add-on services with no need to fill in extra forms. Opt in for registration with the UK embassy in Canada, Fee protection, or expedited processing, while filling out your eTA form.
Simply select the checkboxes in the final section of the form to personalise your application.
Review your details carefully before submitting your form. Our team of specialists will check for any issues before processing your application.
All fees are processed in USD, as our platform operates internationally. If you pay with a local bank, the amount will appear as GBP (£) on your statement. The charge includes both the government fee and the OnTrailVisa service fee.
The cost of an eTA Canada starts at £64 (USD 79), and the CBSA form starts at £28 (USD 35). These fees include both the government charges and our service fees.
Once approved, your travel authorisation will be emailed to you as a PDF. It’s automatically registered to your passport, but we advise you to keep a printed copy for your records.
Your eTA is electronically linked to your passport. Simply present your UK passport to border officers on arrival.
If you have completed an Advance CBSA, this will also be linked to your passport. It’s useful to carry a screenshot or email confirmation.
Advance CBSA declaration for UK citizens
British visitors must complete a customs and immigration declaration when travelling to certain airports in Canada. It must be presented on arrival to Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) officers.
The travel declaration asks for information about items you’re bringing into Canada. If you’re travelling to one of the following airports, the CBSA form is required:
- Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ)
- Calgary International Airport (YYC)
- Edmonton International Airport (YEG)
- Halifax — Stanfield International Airport (YHZ)
- Montréal — Trudeau International Airport (YUL)
- Ottawa International Airport (YOW)
- Quebec City — Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB)
- Toronto — Pearson International Airport — Terminals 1 and 3 (YYZ)
